This break hasn't had a boring moment in it.
Usually, I'm itching to go back to school.
Not this time.
This Wednesday was one of the best days of my life. seriously.
I caught up with juniors from high school--i miss some of them so much! My little sister and the other LaCombe genius
Then I went up to school to have lunch with Julia and Lauren. Not only are they some of my favorite people to hang out with, I also saw my old yearbook kiddos. They were sophomores, but now they're editors! The book looks fantastic too! I'm so proud of them. Also there's this hilarious story of how my old teacher thought she was having a heart attack so she got into an accident, but instead of being at the hospital, she showed up to teach class because she felt it was her moral responsibility.
Then I went to Starbucks and caught up with my senior band crew! Davey, Stephen, Sara, Mel, and Michael. They're so much fun to hang out with. We played Hoopla and then just sat and exchanged stories.
The night ended with reminiscing Italy with my Latin buddies: JJ, Lauren, and Allison. Allison and I have made a promise to have lunch once a week up at UT! But I miss them. We bonded over Pei-Wei, talked about Presidential Elections, Private vs. Public colleges, High School gossip, etc.
Today mom and I went shopping.
I leave for A-Town tomorrow morning at 8:30.
woot
except i could do with a few more days at home
