my new best friend

Right now I'm about to head out to a SG organization rally at Austin's Pizza to represent Blazers. So i thought I'd squeeze in a quick post and update everyone on my life.
My schedule as it is now:
9:30 or 10 Lab
11/11:30 Gym
12:15/12:30 Lab again, usually just to check out things or update my progress to my lab director. This means I cannot eat lunch with people regularly. Lunch, as well.
1:00-3:30 MCAT Class
3:30-6 Either HW, Lab, Naptime (rarely), Office Hours
6/7? Dinner
The rest of the night at the bschool, hence the title of this post, my new best friend. (in particular the reliant room)

I am super stressed and I am anxiously awaiting a call from my big sister so I can cry on her shoulder for a bit. This week has not been fun. I have uber amounts of work and I'm not home half the time. (15 Bio passages a day, 6 Verbal Passages (both from examkrackers), and Princeton HW)

ok blazers, then back to the bschool I think.
I worked for a really long time in my greenhouse today it was amazing!
Ask me and I can take anyone up there sometime...it's really nifty

sweet summertime?

I haven't been here in a while, mainly because I feel summertime is worse than the school year...at least this summer is.
In the past few weekends I have lost my voice, drove back and forth from home to home, and saw one of my best friends for the last time until next summer. (She's going to Argentina in Fall and France in Spring!) I asked he if she would keep a blog and she flat out refused.
Which is interesting because I have been reading another good friend's blog when she was abroad and it brought up the controversy between traditional and new-age journalists regarding the authorship of blogs...ie is it really journalism?
Austin has been really fun in the summer. I have actually, wait for it, started liking to drive. (insert GASP here) I also used to love to have company in the car, but I realized how much more empowering I feel when I drive home or anywhere by myself (and my trusty GPS, of course!)
Well summer has mainly consisted of MCATing and it's steadily and surely going. I really like all the material covered but I wish it wasn't so life determining. Speaking of MCAT, I had a conversation with 2 friends where I discovered why I want to go to medical school (it's not the only reason, but...) : I like being in school. I really enjoy being a student--I could do this for a lifetime. I like the idea of someone being there to hold my hand. (I have college, medical school, then residency) I am not looking forward to the idea of being out in the real world.
I am doing more physics in my research lab (in the department of molecular biology) than I did in physics lab. It's rather depressing.
Also I really want to study abroad! Hearing everybody's stories has emphasized my desire even further, also Pam's blog is really abetting this desire.
We move into our official apartment on August 16th! Yes, I am such a nerd that every time I look at the word 'AUGust' I think of Methionine.
Tomorrow is Dave's 21st! EEEK
ps we've only got two more years left...or at least I do

peace out
